Mobile Library 2010

The mobile library vistis the Ripley Village Hall carpark on Thursdays 4.20pm - 4.40pm on the following dates.

The vehicle serving the north of the county came into service in June 2006. It serves communities scattered over a large area including Chobham, West End, Pyrford, Sheerwater, Mayford, Oxshott, Claygate, Lyne, Pirbright, Send and Ripley. It visits 38 locations every week or fortnight, and 58 sheltered housing units every four weeks.

The vehicles have a powered lift for wheelchair users. The stock has now been overhauled and contains many new titles, including large-print volumes.
